Back to All Events

After taking February off, Altered Feast is back for March with something very special indeed.
A double bill of feature length shows from two of comedy’s rising stars.

Like properly, on television and everything.

These shows are touring to other venues, where tickets would probably cost double this for just one of these shows, never mind both.
How can we afford to do this?
We can’t, I've just done the maths wrong...

Our comedy headliner will be:

touring her 2017 Fringe show

In 2017 Rachel was invited to be a guest “inspirational” speaker at her old school, but what kind of a role model is she really? Through stand-up, characters, videos and her trademark bittersweet comedy anthems, she explores what messed up message she can possibly offer to impressionable young minds.

Parris is a versatile performer, and in Keynote she showcases a bit of everything, from musical improv to, alarmingly, hip hop dancing. Her songs have been heard on BBC Radio 4 (The Now Show), BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 6 Music. Her solo shows have found critical acclaim, and have earned her a Chortle Award nomination, a Funny Women Best Show nomination and a win for What’s On London’s Best Musical Comedy Show. Her last show, Best Laid Plans, is now available on DVD. She is currently appearing in The Mash Report on BBC2 alongside Nish Kumar and Ellie Taylor and later in the year will appear in Plebs on ITV 3. She is also a founder member of Austentatious who have appeared on Radio 4 as well as continuing their West End residency into 2018.

With more superb stand up from:

previewing his new show

Award-nominated comic Jim Campbell has been busy with a chart-topping podcast, an acclaimed book and his personal life exploding. Everyone was right though; it’s good for material.

Now he returns with a new show in which he charts his attempts to find love… and destroy it.

“Charmingly fresh… Campbell’s company will leave you entertained and enlightened”
The List ★★★★

“A superb example of how to craft a technically accomplished, winningly performed piece of comedy”
Fest ★★★★

“Exquisitely written, punchline-driven material… A future star”

And of course, your resident host MC Tom Clutterbuck.
