Here at The Birdcage we feel passionately about supporting and encouraging creative communities and events all across the board, from open mic nights and book launches to drag shows, poetry and life drawing (even life drawing with animals!). With that said, we’re super excited to announce a brand new workshop to The Ballroom, with an awesome local eco florist…

To celebrate British Flowers Week (10-18th June) WildFolk will be launching their workshops here with; FIZZ' ‘N’ FLOWERS. In the 90 minute class you’ll create a stunning urn arrangement to take home featuring locally grown seasonal flowers, using eco friendly techniques to construct the design with a glass of prosecco in hand!

WildFolk, located in Norwich is run by the lovely Natalie who grows her own wild and seasonal flowers right here in Norfolk and finds ways to ensure her business is completely sustainable; for example she doesn’t use any floral foam or tape and relies on frogs and toads to get rid of the pests!

Shockingly, most high street flowers are grown in artificial, chemical environments - they never see soil let alone a field whereas the blooms from WildFolk give nature a home and really are grown with proper love!

So folks, book your place (limited) and join us for an evening of creativity and bubbles! Bring your bestie, your grandmother or your four legged friend and let’s have some fun with flowers.
