ALL IS FLUX - street photography by Bilos

The work of Bilos focuses on life in the urban environment and the way people interact with their surroundings. Bilos is interested in the juxtaposition between the man-made and the natural, the various forms of information displayed in the streets and the visual repetition as a link between time, place and memory. Influenced by his background in graffiti, urban traces and evidence of existence are documented, analysed and re-composed to form a new narrative that praises the ordinary.

Displayed at The Bridge during March and April is a selection of 28 photographs taken all over Europe, capturing moments seen by Bilos in the streets of the cities. This exhibition was inspired by a publication of the same name Bilos produced in 2015 as part of his MA in Communication Design at Norwich University of the Arts. Since the book’s first edition, his collection of photos has expanded and this had led to the production of a timely second edition, available as a limited run of 20 copies. This new edition includes a forward by All Type No Face. For more information about All is flux and how to purchase a copy see Bilos’ website and instagram links below.

All photographs exhibited are available to purchase for £12 each including the frame (to be collected at the end of April).
